Our Programs

Wickenburg Virtual Academy, located on the Wickenburg High School campus, is a unique program for students who find it difficult to succeed in the traditional school setting. We aim to help our students meet Wickenburg High School’s graduation requirements. Students work independently and at their own pace. With our dedicated teachers and disciplined structure, we help our students reach their goals.

We offer our classes in a block scheduling format in which we divide each semester into three six-week grading periods. Students generally take two classes each academic grading period. We encourage you to learn more about our academic priorities and requirements.

We are happy to be a Title One school for reading, writing, and mathematics. Title One, under the No Child Left Behind Act, provides financial assistance to our school so that we can meet our students’ academic needs. We use these funds to help our students meet Arizona state standards and Wickenburg High School graduation requirements. We apply them in a variety of ways: supplemental programs, instructional services, or increasing parental involvement, just to name a few.

For our guidelines and expectations, please review our WDLP/WVA Handbook which can be found linked on our Home page.
